UNDERSTANDING STAGES OF GRIEF

Understanding the stages of grief helps individuals recognize that loss is a personal and non-linear process. Commonly described stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance represent; emotional responses that may occur after experiencing loss. Not everyone goes through all stages or in a specific order. Increasing awareness of these stages promotes self-compassion, emotional validation, and healthier coping during difficult times.
